What We Do
The Worship Commission shapes the liturgical life of the parish. In conjunction with the Director of Liturgy and Music and the pastor, the Commission helps build a vision for what the liturgical life of the parish looks like. They analyze the liturgies on an ongoing basis to help bring the actuality of the parish’s liturgical life in line with its goals for good liturgy. The Commission members represent all the liturgical ministries by their service as lectors, sacristans, musicians, altar servers and Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion. They are involved to some degree in the preparation and implementation of significant liturgies such as the Parish Mass of Remembrance, Christmas, and Holy Week liturgies.
The Commission meets on the first Tuesday of the month from September-May. Mass is at 6:30 PM followed by the meeting from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
