I coordinate our parish health ministry in providing education, health counseling, information and referral for community resources and services, and presence and prayer, with health ministry volunteers. I assist with the planning of the funeral and am available to the family on the day of the funeral to arrange the flowers and pictures in the gathering space before the visitation. I attend the funeral and help the lectors and other people who are asked to participate in the liturgy.
