Franciscans (SFO)
Meets monthly – third Tuesday, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.
St. Francis of Assisi is the founder of the Secular Franciscan Order (SFO), an international order within the Catholic Church.  The St. Thomas More Fraternity, located at St. Patrick’s, is a local fraternity within the SFO.  Members of the SFO are committed to live the rule and life of the Secular Franciscan, to live the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ by following the example of St. Francis of Assisi, who made Christ the inspiration and the center of his life with God and people.  We are called to answer the Spirit’s call to make the world a better place.  Knowing we are not able to do everything, we start with ourselves, then our family, and, going beyond that, as we are called and as situations permit, to some work at the international level.  All are welcome – men and women.
