Our activities include movie parties, ski/snowboarding/tubing parties, Net Ministries masses, and retreats, as well as service projects to aid the hungry, the lonely, or the homeless. Fundraisers throughout the year fund these activities as well as help defray the costs of Summer Festival, Discipleship Week, and missionary trips.

Christpower Mission Trip

June 22 -28, 2008

This is a week long mission retreat in North Minneapolis for high school students.

Each day begins with breakfast at 7 AM.  Work crews leave to go to work sites at about 9 AM and return by 3:30 PM.  Each work site has been pre-arranged by the host parish with parishioners in need.  Work may include painting, yard work, construction, home maintenance/repair, cleaning, childcare, and helping at food distribution centers.

The work day ends with some free time to play, write, nap, chat or whatever. Then each night has a different program with activities, skits, music, videos, teen testimonials, motivational speakers and prayer.

Special care has been taken to assure the safety of the kids.  Talk to Steve if you have any concerns.

Jesus says,
"whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me"
Matthew 25:40
